We're opening to 2005 in a grand way, putting out the first ever release by 16 year old Californian Melissa Welch. We are honored to showcase her beautiful yet tiny ep 'sleep-wake'; 3 tracks of eclectic bliss, filled with layers upon layers of sweetness and soul-warming vibes, all wrapped up in esotheric, candycane vocals. Absolutely a taste of what's to come from Melissa, who, to our eyes, has a dreamy sound with a future in music as solid as concrete.

Lovely
I listened to one of her songs when I was twelve. Now, being eighteen, I look back at it and realize how lucky I was for serendipity to bring me here to this lovely release. Five stars, no question.

I keep coming back to this one...
Beautiful voice...I can't get enough of her. Music is very dream-like with the perfect amount of elecrtonic sounds to keep it going.
Its music like this that is a real treat to listen to where I can close my eyes and see something different everytime (if that makes sence).
Only complaint is that it isn't long enough. Can't wait for more from Melissa!

Electronic Bliss
Angelic vocals, blissful melodies, delicate beats, and sparkling electronics make this brief three-tracker a real winner. Very satisfying listening - it will not disappoint. Only wish it was longer.
